A guy slaps a girl’s backside. Moxie is a story of teen feminist rebellion with a screenplay that plays every moment just a little too safe. A male character spits in a girl’s can of coke. Amy Poehler's sophomore directorial feature, Moxie, has remained one of Netflix's most-viewed movies since making its platform premiere on March 3, 2021.
